Iceland has great infrastructure for tourism, which means that we will rarely be walking for more than 5-10 minutes to get to a location, so physical exertion on this trip will not be a concern. However, Iceland is notorious for its quickly changing weather, so having the right clothing and equipment is essential! Since we will be exposed to the elements, it is important to have good outdoor clothing as temperatures can vary from 0 to 15 degrees Celsius (30 – 60 degrees Fahrenheit) in a single day, depending on our location and the weather around us. The best approach to dealing with the weather in Iceland is to wear multiple layers so that you can adjust what you wear to the temperature.
